It’s all from La Spezia the only Italian contemporary art project selected in Zurich to mark the centenary of the Dada movement: WITZ! is an installation-game attended by photographers, musicians, artists and a school in the province.
On October 14 and 15, at the Camec Museum shows the contemporary art performance video WITZ! which in German means joke, game. The installation brought together dancers, musicians, and artists of various forms of visual art to represent the multifaceted reality of the game and the dream in a multisensorial living installation, the eccentric point of view full of irony on the changing world in perfect “dada” style. In this way Alessio Guano, Fernando Andolcetti and Cosimo Cinimo, authors of the project under the guidance of Tiziana Clara Luisi paid tribute to the movement born in Zurich exactly 100 years ago in the famous Cabaret Voltaire, winning the prize of the selection as the only Italian project from the association Dada100 Zurich.
WITZ! he was treated by Dr. Tiziana Clara Luisi, promoted by the Galleria Il Gabbiano Contemporary Art in La Spezia, in collaboration with the online space Atelier97 Contemporary Art and the Art School and Music “V.Cardarelli” dellaSpezia. In addition to the screening of the video, a small exhibition has welcomed the public with an exhibition of original works created by artists who participated in the project, some of the shots of professional photographers performances (Andrea Piotto, Roberto Vendasi, Francesco Tassara, Pietro and Gianluca Benelli Ghinolfi ).
