One of the nicest features of the territory which shifts from upper Tuscany and Liguria is the variety of landscapes and the chance to be surprised by the view of sea, mountains, cliffs overlooking the sea and lush river valleys, from one of the many spectacular points of view that allow a comprehensive look.
The guidance of those who know this composite territorial and cultural reality, who live every day in it, is the best way to grasp all aspects.
Sigeric it is a cooperative of qualified tourist , environment and alpine guides offering guided tours and outdoor activities out of the beaten tracks in the Gulf of Poets, National Park of Cinque Terre and Lunigiana, unexplored hinterland of Tuscany and Liguria.
The group offers daily tours with weekly starting (once you reach the minimum number of participants):
Every Wednesday: Secret Pontremoli – Lunigiana
Pontremoli has been an important commercial and strategic center in the Middle Ages, time of which it brings remarkable architectural remains. Located on the so-called Via Francigena for pilgrims to Rome, it was protected by the mighty castle Piagnaro, looking down at the historical region of Lunigiana, that was formed among the various fortified towns of the valley on the trajectory that led from Parma to the sea, beyond the Cisa pass. This tour shows all the beauty of Pontremoli, even in its mysterious and unknown aspects.
Every Thursday: Stretti of Giaredo Adventure (Lunigiana) and Via Ferrata Experience (Apuan Alps)
Near the village of Cavezzana, not far from Pontremoli, the Gordana River enters a narrow canyon called Streti di Giaredo. The walls of the gorge are high over fifty meters. In the canyon you can see many rocks, round and oblong, sandstone, gneiss and granite, and red and green jasper, rocks used to sculpt many of the altars in the churches of Pontremoli .
The Via Ferrata, is an adventurous tour in the mountains of the most valuable marble in the world, which can be admired in its spectacular mountains and quarries behind Carrara.
Tutti i venerdi: Climbing or Deep Water Solo (arrampicata nel Golfo dei Poeti)
To try the new climbing experience on rocks or to improve your skills with the assistance of a mountain guide, climbing with varying degrees of difficulty in a unique natural environment with spectacular views from the cliffs of the Apuan Alps or those overlooking the Ligurian Sea.
Or you can try to climb without a rope on the surface of water, up until you can and then let yourself fall smoothly in the sea. You can reach the cliffs in the stretch of sea between Lerici and Tellaro aboard a boat or, for the more daring, by canoe.
Every Saturday: Stretti di Giaredo and Secret Pontremoli (Lunigiana)
– Ride and Taste Lunigiana
– Canyoning Experience (in Lunigiana)
