During the Festa della Marineria in La Spezia, starting tomorrow evening, a few street (and sea) art shows will take place in town. Somehow eccentric, unique, the art representations will be scenario to the many events of the navy festival, but definitely many of us will linger looking at the world’s biggest duckies by juggler Leo Bassi (tomorrow at 7pm, Sea Arena in Passeggiata Morin) or by his attempt to hypnotize everyone (Friday at 7.pm, Piazza Mentana). If you will walk the lively streets of La Spezia in these days, you will probably meet many itinerant performances taking place on the streets like the one by Fanfare Le Snob, with surprising music and dances, or the one by Lyle Doghead, with its mechanical animal, Lrry, a cross between dinosaur, horse and tank, built with old spare parts of cars and industrial waste (leaving from Piazza Garibaldi on Sunday, at 6.30 and 10 pm). Or again holding your bretat while looking at the French company In Senso dance hanging in the air, touching the balconies and facades (Piazza Sant’Agostino, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday a 6.30 and 9.30 pm).
